SACC Summer Day Camp

Published April 12, 2012

Registration has begun for an exciting summer camp hosted by the WCS School Age Child Care (SACC) program.  Let the Games Begin is a 10 week long summer day camp that will be held May 29 through August 3 at the following locations throughout Williamson County:

  • Allendale Elementary
  • Chapman’s Retreat Elementary
  • Clovercroft Elementary
  • College Grove Elementary
  • Crockett Elementary
  • Heritage Elementary
  • Kenrose Elementary
  • Longview Elementary
  • Oak View Elementary
  • Trinity Elementary
  • Westwood Elementary

The camp will include a balance of child selected activities as well as staff directed games, crafts and enrichment projects.  Each week, students will explore a different country and focus on an Olympic sport.  Along with enrichment activities, each location will have a variety of clubs for children to participate in.  These clubs will help children explore new activities focused on the arts, academics and athletics.

SACC day camp is open to Williamson County residents whose children have completed kindergarten through fifth grade.  Pre-K students who have attended a Williamson County Schools pre-K program may also attend.  Several levels of registration exist to meet the needs of WCS families.  Parents have the option to sign up for each of the 10 weeks separately for either full time care for a flat rate of $100 per week or as a drop-in, attending only as needed, for $25 on non-field trip days and $28 on field trip days.  The day camp staff consists of Williamson County School employees.
