The purpose of this section is to answer any questions parents, teachers or community members might have regarding the school district and to set the record straight in regards to any rumors that might be circulating.  If you have a question or have heard a rumor that you would like for us to address, simply SEND US your questions and we will respond to them in upcoming issues of IN FOCUS.  Below are some of the questions we received since our last issue.

I heard that land has been purchased for the new Nolensville High School.  Is it true and if so where and has the zoning been determined?  Also when will the school open if the land has been purchased.

At this time, no land has been purchased for a new Nolensville area high school.  The district has identified a property located at the northeast corner of York and Nolensville roads; however a purchase is not expected to take place until August.  According to the district's Capital Outlay Plan, the Nolensville area high school would not open until the summer of 2015.
