Middle & High Schools to Observe Late Start Days

New this year, Williamson County middle schools will join high schools in observing Late Start Days.  The Williamson County School Board approved the measure at its June 18 meeting.  Late Start Days allow teachers an opportunity to work together to develop strategies for instructing students.

Although classes begin a half hour later on these days, buses will continue to run at their regular times. Students arriving to school early will have the benefit of choosing from several supervised activities.

All Williamson County middle and high schools will observe Late Start Days on Mondays throughout the 2012-13 school year.
