Grassland Water Fountains

Students at Grassland Elementary School have a new way to cool off on hot summer days.  Two new water fountains were recently installed near the school's large playground.  The project was made possible thanks to a $3,870 Toolbox for Education grant courtesy of Lowe's Charitable and Educational Foundation.

Members of the Grassland School Community Association joined Principal Dr. Ann Gordon and Monte Fuqua, manager of Lowe's Cool Springs, for a special ribbon cutting ceremony August 12.
