Funding Process Survey Results
Published January 26, 2012
Williamson County Schools conducted a survey of residents from December 1, 2011, through December 15, 2011, as part of the Williamson County School Board Strategic Plan. The plan calls for the district to increase the revenue flow to allow for more education opportunities for students. The survey was designed to help staff determine the general knowledge of stakeholders regarding the budget process and funding of the school district, and it was created by district staff and the PTO Leadership Committee. More than 1,300 Williamson County residents participated. This is the second in a series of articles about the WCS budgeting and funding process.
