Four WCS Schools Ranked Among Nation's Best

Four Williamson County schools are listed among the top high schools in the nation according to Newsweek magazine's annual report.  Brentwood High, Ravenwood High, Franklin High and Page High all made the 2012 list of America's Best High Schools.

Newsweek used several criteria to determine the rankings including each school's graduation rate, college matriculation rate, percentage of Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate tests taken per student, average SAT/ACT scores and the percentage of Advanced Placement courses offered per student.

A total of 11 Tennessee high schools made this year's list.  According to Newsweek, Brentwood High School is ranked 252, Ravenwood High is ranked 419, Franklin High is ranked 572 and Page High is ranked 672.

In addition, three WCS schools were listed among the best high schools in Tennessee according to US News and World Report.  They include Brentwood High (#4), Page High (#14) and Middle College High which received a Bronze Medal Award.
