Brentwood Middle School is about to celebrate a major milestone. The school, formerly known as Northside Junior High, turns 40 years old this year.
An open house for student alumni and former teachers and staff will take place Friday, October 7 from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. in the school library. Student government members will hold building tours during this time. Refreshments will be provided by the BMS PTO, and limited edition 40th Anniversary t-shirts will be offered for $10.
Later that day, the student body will view a documentary showcasing the past 40 years during an assembly. Past principals, city and county officials, and school employees will also be on hand.
