BRENTWOOD HIGH SCHOOL

Kimberly Eddleman

Congratulations to Brentwood High School Sophomore Kimberly Eddleman for being awarded the 2011 National Spanish Exam's Global Citizen Scholarship for Underclassman.

Eddleman is one of 12 students selected nationally which recognizes student achievement and language proficiency in the study of Spanish.  The scholarship covers the cost of tuition for a two-week Spanish immersion program.

FAIRVIEW MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOLS

Congratulations to the Fairview Middle School and Fairview High School students who attended the 34th annual Tennessee Technology Student Association State Conference in Chattanooga.  More than 800 students and teachers from across the state gathered at the conference to compete in a variety of technology oriented competitions.  Below is a list of the students who placed at this year's competition:

KENROSE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Davis Bove

Congratulations to Kenrose Elementary School fifth grader Davis Bove who recently set a new school record of six minutes, nine seconds for the mile run. 



PAGE HIGH SCHOOL

Congratulations to the Page High School Winter Guard for being awarded the Scholastic AAA First Place Gold Medalists at the SCGC 2012 Championships.  In addition, Page High School Winter Guard Instructor Kenneth Calhoun received the SCGC Lifetime Service Award at the SCGC Championships.

RAVENWOOD HIGH SCHOOL

Congratulations to the Ravenwood High School Winter Guard.  They were named the 1A Class Champion at the SCGC Tennessee Regional Competition.  They are currently ranked third out of all of the Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky and Mississippi 1A Winter Guards.

Frances Ding

Congratulations to Ravenwood High School student Frances Ding who is a Chemistry Olympiad National Exam Nominee.  Frances was the top scorer at the Regional Exam.
