BRENTWOOD MIDDLE SCHOOL

CHAPMAN'S RETREAT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 

Samantha Wright

Congratulations to Chapman's Retreat Elementary School fifth grader Samantha Wright for winning the school's 1st Annual Geography Bee.  Samantha has submitted her state qualifying exam.  The top 100 scoring students in the state will compete in the state level Geography Bee in March.

 

FRANKLIN HIGH SCHOOL 
Congratulations to Franklin High School students Carson Hewitt, Hannah Miller, Chesney White, JoAnne Street, McKenzie Moore and Jessica Hiskey.  They recently signed to play soccer at the collegiate level.

KENROSE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Congratulations to Kenrose Elementary School student Avery Fallon for winning the school Spelling Bee.  Megha Chitturi was named the runner-up.  Avery and Megha will represent Kenrose in the Williamson County Spelling Bee.

 

MINI MU MATH COMPETITION

Congratulations to all of the Williamson County students who competed in the Mini-Mu Math Competition.  Brentwood High School’s Mu Alpha Theta’s (Math Honor Society) hosted the 2nd Annual Mini Mu Competition in December for fourth and fifth graders and in January for middle school students.

Congratulations to the Page High School Wrestling Team for winning the 2012 Region VII Championship.  Team members include Dalton Dorris, Tristan Laravae, Nathan Sizemore, Brian Lacey, Luke Lucas, Daniel Prendergast, Theo Griffin, Peter Leichner, Austin Inglis, Dylan Davis, Bryce Teague, Wyatt Prendergast, Micah Baldree, Connor Gittere, Harper Greiner and Cody Sadler.  They are coached by Benjamin Gray.

 

RAVENWOOD HIGH SCHOOL

Congratulations to the Ravenwood High School Wrestling Team for winning the Region 6-AAA Duals Championship.  The winning lineup consisted of Andrew Long, Jacob Travis, Kyle Kuehnhold, Robin Klingensmith, Jacob Freeman, Taylor Warren, Haydn Jennings, Tanner Reynolds, Grant Jones, Andrew Debattista, Camden Grecco, Jonathan Mabry, Evan Long, Rex Shotts and Bowen Reau.  They are coached by Josh Peck.



RAVENWOOD HIGH SCHOOL

Congratulations to Ravenwood High School students Zach Glick, Austin Hetherington, Simon Lowen and Sean Yao for winning the annual Linguistics Competition at MTSU.  This competition is an excellent opportunity for students with an interest in language or logic to shine.

Congratulations to the Brentwood Fire Department Poster winners Katie Duncan, Phillip Hyam, Grace Cestaro, Winston Brown, Siv Granered and Rachel Mayhugh.  They were awarded medals from Fire Marshall Nancy Jones.
