CENTENNIAL HIGH SCHOOL

The Centennial High School Marching Cougar Band participated in the Waverly Central Marching Invitational and won the following awards: first place Field Commander in Class, second place Field Commander in Division, first place Color Guard in Class, first place Color Guard in Division, third place Band in Class, third place Band in Division and second place Ensemble Overall Score.

GRASSLAND MIDDLE SCHOOL 
The Grassland Middle School Golf Team recently won the 2nd Annual Mayors Cup hosted by Spencer Creek Golf Course. Team members include Richard Rolfe, Nathan Wilson, Chance Cuthbert, Paul Swindell, Michael Shears, and Chris Hawkins.  Pictured are Michael Shears and Paul Swindell.

 

INDEPENDENCE HIGH SCHOOL

The Independence High School Lady Golfers recently won the District Championship.  Pictured are team members Mallory Lemmers, Victoria Lipert, Haley Smith and Amber Hardy.



LIPSCOMB ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Savannah Blasdel:  Savannah was named the winner of this year’s school directory cover competition.  Her artwork was chosen for its representation of this year’s school theme We are Lipscomb. An excellent foundation, an excellent future!.

RAVENWOOD HIGH SCHOOL 

Kristin Portanova:  Portanova was recently honored by the Catholic Charities of Tennessee as a Volunteer of the Year.  She received the I Care Award, which is presented each year to someone age 18 or younger who provides outstanding community service.
