Transition Events Scheduled

Several Williamson County schools will be hosting events in the coming weeks for families who have been rezoned for the 2011-12 school year.  These events are designed to help parents and students prepare for the coming school year.

Families transitioning to Heritage Middle:

  • Thursday, February 3:  Students are invited to attend a Student Tailgate from 5:30-6:30 p.m.  A parent meeting will be held immediately after from 6:30-7:30 in the cafeteria.

Families transitioning from Ravenwood to Brentwood:

·   Tuesday, February 15:  Brentwood counselors will be at Ravenwood during the school day to enroll those students who will be attending Brentwood next year.  In addition, parents are asked to contact the counseling department at Brentwood if they have any questions at 472-4220. 

Families Transitioning to Centennial High School:

  • Monday, February 7:  Centennial will hold a “Rising Freshman Night” at 6 p.m.  All new freshmen, re-zoned students and their parents are welcome to attend.

  • Wednesday, February 9:  Centennial High School will hold a shadow day for rezoned students from 8-10 a.m.  In addition, parents are asked to contact the counseling department at Centennial if they have any questions at 472-4270.

  • February 16-17:  Counselors from Centennial will be at Ravenwood during the school day to register students who will be attending CHS in the fall.  Students may set up 15 minute appointments by signing up in the RHS Counseling Office.
