School Lunch Prices

Published August 5, 2010

Williamson County parents will be happy to learn the cost for school meals will remain the same as last year.  Elementary lunch will cost $2.50, while lunches at middle and high schools will cost $2.75.  At schools where breakfast is offered, the price of breakfast will be $1.25 for elementary students and $1.50 for middle and high school.

"Students can expect the same great taste and quality food they've come to expect in Williamson County schools," said WCS Food Service Director James Remete.

"The Child Nutrition Department goes to great lengths to ensure each student has access to a healthy selection of lean meats, fruits and vegetables daily."

In addition, parents who have not already signed up to pay for their child's meals online can still do so by logging on to the Food Service Department's WEBSITE.  MyNutriKids allows parents to manage their child's lunch account by giving them the ability to make online payments, view their child's eating history and receive emails when their child's balance is low.

As an added bonus, parents who pay for school meals online will receive a free student lunch.  The free lunch is meant to offset the $1.75 convenience fee which is charged each time money is added to an account.  As a result, each student will receive one free lunch for each online payment transaction of $25 or more.
