The purpose of this section is to answer any questions parents, teachers or community members might have regarding the school district and to set the record straight in regards to any rumors that might be circulating.  If you have a question or have heard a rumor that you would like for us to address, simply SEND US your questions and we will respond to them in upcoming issues of IN FOCUS.  Below are some of the questions we received since our last newsletter.

Is it true that Williamson County Schools spends more per pupil than all the other districts in Tennessee?

No.  Although we are one of the wealthiest communities in the nation, we rank 131 of 135 in state expenditures per pupil and 84th out of 134 districts when you add in local revenue.

The Board of Education passed the new rezoning plan at its November 15 meeting.  Does that plan include the 3 with me program?

No.  The School Board did not vote on the 3 with me program.  Additional information pertaining to the rezoning plan can be found by going to the Bus Routes and School Zones section of the district website.
