Presidential Scholars
Published February 3, 2011
Six Williamson County students were recently named candidates for the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program. The Presidential Scholars Program was established in 1964 to recognize and honor some of our nation’s most distinguished graduating high school seniors.
Students may become Presidential Scholars based on two paths of accomplishment: either broad academic achievement or academic and artistic scholarship in the visual arts, the performing arts, or creative writing. Final winners of this prestigious award will be named in late spring.
Congratulations to the following students:
Eric Donahue - Brentwood High |
John Burnum - Franklin High |
Steve Junghans - Franklin High |
