Page High School Recognition Day

A number of Page High School scholars and athletes were recognized for their Fall 2010 achievements at a school-wide recognition day November 10. Williamson County Mayor Rogers Anderson presented proclamations to the following students:

Golfers Ryan Oliver and Jessica Zweifel for their appearance at the State Golf Championship.

Page High JROTC Honor Unit with Distinction for being ranked nationally in the top five percent for six consecutive years.

Boys Cross Country Team which improved from 23rd place in 2009 to 14th place in 2010.

Math Bowl Team for placing third out of 64 teams.

Page High Drama Club for collecting over 2,600 food items for local food banks and families.

Future Farmers of America for earning numerous awards at the national FFA convention in Indianapolis.

Page High Football Team for earning a wildcard playoff berth in the State playoffs.

Girls Soccer Team for winning the District 11 and Region 3 Championships and winning the quarterfinals at State.

Patriot Marching Band for finishing second in the Division II State Marching Championships, with the Color Guard and Drum Majors finishing in first place.
In addition, Williamson County Awards of Excellence were presented to the Page High School Volleyball Team for winning the AA State Championship and Anika Rahman for placing first overall in the Pro2Serve Math Competition at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
