Published January 6, 2011

Congratulations to Page High School for being nominated for the prestigious 2011 Blue Ribbon Schools award.  The national honor recognizes academic excellence in schools that have either performed in the top 10 percent in their state, or made exceptional progress in academic achievement.

Page High School was nominated as a High Performing school.  It currently ranks among Tennessee's Top 10 percent in academic achievement and was one of only six schools in the State to be nominated for the national recognition.  Winners will be announced in the fall of 2011.

"It is an honor to be recognized by the Blue Ribbon committee," said Page High Principal Dr. Andrea Anthony.  "Our teachers and staff realize each day that they are making significant impact relative to the college and career readiness of our students.”
