Late Start Days
Published August 4, 2010
In June, the Williamson County School Board approved a measure to continue Late Start Days at high schools during the 2010-2011 school year. Late Start Days allow teachers an opportunity to work together several times a year to develop strategies for instructing students. On these days, students come to school about 30 minutes after the normal start time.
This year, all eight Williamson County high schools will hold Late Start Days on Monday. Although classes begin a half hour later on these days, busses will continue to run at their regular times. Students arriving to school early will have the benefit of choosing from several supervised activities. Below is a list of Late Start Days for the 2010-2011 school year.
