Important News for Parents of Students with Special Needs

New Parent Expo
Williamson County parents are invited to attend the 2010 New Parent Expo. This event will be held Thursday, October 14 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. in the Franklin High School Library and will give parents of students with special needs an opportunity to talk with other parents and staff about current topics in special education. This event is sponsored by WCS Link, the parent support group for Williamson County Schools.
Coffee with Carol
Williamson County Student Support Services Director Carol Hendlmyer will be making a special trip to Spring Hill in the month of October. The purpose of the visit will be to meet face-to-face with the parents of students with special needs and answer any questions or concerns they might have. The meeting will be held Thursday, October 21 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the Longview Recreation Center. A similar meeting will be held in Fairview in November. Dates, times and locations are listed below.
