Hillsboro Receives Donation

Hundreds of students at Hillsboro School will benefit from a recent donation. Earlier this month, a fundraising group called Hillsboro Tomorrow presented the school with a check for $30,000.

The donation took place May 14 during the school's annual Hillstock fundraiser. The money will be used in a number of ways including technology upgrades, additional library brooks and new sod for the football field.

Members of Hillsboro Tomorrow say they hope to raise $100,000 before the fall. If they meet their goal, two major contributors have pledged to match that amount, which would result in a $300,000 contribution.
