Governor Haslam Visits Fairview High

Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam paid a special visit to Fairview High School January 20.  It was Haslam's first visit to a school as governor.  While at Fairview, Haslam met with students, toured a few classrooms and discussed ways to improve education.  He said one of the reasons he chose Fairview was because of the school's recent improvement.

"This is a school that has dramatically improved their graduation rate," said Haslam.  "They understand it's about relationships and they are committed to not letting any students slip through the cracks."
