Fairview Cheerleaders Nominated for Prestigious Award

The Fairview High School football cheerleaders are among 18 squads nationwide who received the Outstanding Achievement Award by the Universal Cheerleaders Association.  The honor is given in conjunction with the prestigious American School Spirit Award, which recognizes the top all-around programs in the country.  Programs are judged according to community service, athletic support, spirit raising activities, academics and cheerleading performance.  The winner will be announced December 17 and receive a trip to the National High School Cheerleading Championship, a feature spot on ESPN and awards for their spring banquet.
