Ravenwood High School Math Teacher Kevin Deck has been named the Assessment Analyst for Williamson County Schools. Deck will support school administrators by coordinating and implementing the student testing program and also analyzing and interpreting student data.
“I am pleased to share the announcement that Kevin Deck is the district’s new Assessment Analyst,” said Curriculum Supervisor Jaci Stewart. “Kevin will be an integral part of our team, and we look forward to working with him.”
Deck has taught math at Ravenwood for the past three years. Prior to that time he taught in Cobb County, Georgia, for 10 years.
“While I will truly miss working directly with students every day, I’m very excited to be a part of the Curriculum Department at the district level,” said Deck. “I look forward to collaborating with our teachers, administrators and other shareholders for the betterment of our schools and our students.”
Deck, whose professional interests have been in curriculum and assessment, online education, and advanced mathematics in the high school, earned his Bachelor’s in Secondary Education Mathematics from Tennessee Tech and his Master’s in Adolescent Education Mathematics from Kennesaw State University.
