Classified Employees of the Year

Williamson County Schools honored its Classified Employees of the Year May 3 at a ceremony in Franklin.  The district employs more than 1,700 classified employees, which includes everyone from teacher assistants to maintenance workers to school bus drivers.

Employees were nominated for the honor by their individual school or department.  Of those who were nominated, a selection committee chose a winner for the elementary, middle and high school grade levels.

Scales Elementary School Special Education Teacher Assistant Julie Jones won the elementary school Employee of the Year Award; Brentwood Middle School Special Education Teacher Assistant Bonnie Barnitt won the middle school award; and Page High School Guidance Secretary Doris Robinson won the award at the high school level.
