Breezeway School Update

Construction will begin soon on a new Williamson County elementary school in the Breezeway subdivision.  Franklin aldermen voted unanimously August 24 on the third and final vote to rezone 22.7 acres on Clovercroft Road from low residential to civic/institutional use.

In addition, Williamson County Schools will give the city of Franklin $1 million to add new traffic signals and make other improvements to area roadways.  The new school, which is slated to open in August 2011, will be built using the same floor plan as Allendale and Pearre Creek elementary schools.
