INDEPENDENCE HIGH
	Giselle Kakoti:  National winner of the David Mann Scholarship for $1,000 from the Mensa Education and Research Foundation college scholarship program.

 

RAVENWOOD HIGH
	Venkata Amarthaluru:  Named as a 2011 Regional Scholar for the Coca-Cola Foundation Scholars Program.  Venkata will receive a renewable $2,500 award that can be used at any accredited U.S. college or university.

 

WOODLAND MIDDLE
	Lexi Arnold, Riley Armstrong & Michaelah Wheat:  Lexi Arnold finished second in shot put, Riley Armstrong finished third in long jump and Michaelah Wheat won first in long jump at the WMAA Track & Field Tournament.
	Chiraag Kaushik, Emily Berexa & Stefan Antic:  Named Woodland Middle School's Top Scholars for the year in sixth grade.
	Sarah Drexler & Angel Asirvatham: Named Woodland Middle School's Top Scholars for the year in seventh grade.
	Brock Schoenwald & Anna Stephens:  Named Woodland Middle School's Top Scholars for the year in eighth grade.
WMS Tennis Team: Won the WMAA Tournament.  Team members are Maddie King, Rachel Hudson, Emily Wiseman, Katie Dewald, Natalyn Jones, Austin Chitwood, John Schumacher, Christian Hahnemann, Ethan Brown, AJ Wei, Jack Miller, Steven Karl, and Hayes Canupp.
