Dr. Melonye Lowe, Allendale Elementary
Dr. Melonye Lowe has worked with Williamson County Schools for more than 16 years, including three years as principal at College Grove Elementary School. She also served as an assistant principal at Kenrose and Oak View.
Lowe says she is excited to be a part of Allendale Elementary and looks forward to meeting her new students and parents.

Dr. Frank Brown, Centennial High
Dr. Frank Brown brings 18 years of experience as the new principal at Centennial High School. He came to WCS in 2007 as an assistant principal at Independence High School. He has been at Heritage Middle for the past three years.
Brown says he looks forward to working with such a high quality school and school community.

Kari Miller, College Grove Elementary
Kari Miller, the new principal at College Grove Elementary School, joins WCS from Irvine, California, where she served as principal of the Buena Vista Arts-Integrated Magnet School. Miller began her work in the education field in 1994 as an elementary teacher and earned her Master's degree in Education from Pepperdine University.

Dr. Mary Gist, Heritage Middle
Veteran educator Dr. Mary Gist will serve as the new principal at Heritage Middle School. Gist is returning to Williamson County after serving as principal at Richview Middle School in Montgomery County. Prior to that, she was assistant principal as Freedom Middle School in Franklin for seven years and a biology teacher at Franklin High for three years.

Dr. Eric Lifsey, Page Middle
After serving as an assistant principal at Page High School for two years, Dr. Eric Lifsey is excited to be moving across the road to Page Middle where he be the school's new principal. Lifsey has worked in Williamson County schools for the past 17 years and says he looks forward to building on the many successes students and staff have enjoyed at Page Middle School.

Beth Ferguson, Pearre Creek Elementary
Beth Ferguson is the new principal at Pearre Creek Elementary School. Ferguson began working in the district as a teacher at Grassland Middle School in 1997. In 2002, she was named principal at Nolensville Elementary.
Ferguson says she is excited to move to Pearre Creek and establish a strong learning community.

Joan Tidwell, Pinewood Elementary
In addition to serving as principal of Fairview Elementary School, Joan Tidwell will be the new principal at Pinewood Elementary School. Tidwell began her teaching career in 1975 and has taught in Tennessee, South Dakota and Nebraska. She came to Williamson County as a teacher in 1991 and has served as principal at Fairview Elementary for the past four years.

Paula Pulliam, Spring Station Middle
Paula Pulliam, who has been working for WCS for 16 years, will be the new principal at Spring Station Middle School. This is not the first time Pulliam will have opened a new school. She was the principal at Heritage Middle when it opened in 2000 and says she looks forward to working with the community to establish another wonderful school in the southern part of the county.

Dr. Charles Farmer, Summit High
Summit High School will not open until August, 2011, but its new principal, Dr. Charles Farmer, is already on the job. Farmer comes to WCS from Greenville, Alabama where he served as principal of Greenville High School for two years. Farmer is originally from Murfreesboro and says he feels blessed to be given the opportunity to be part of the Williamson County community.

Josie Jacobs, Sunset Elementary
Josie Jacobs will be the new principal at Sunset Elementary School, after serving four years as principal at Page Middle School. Before that, Jacobs was principal at Winstead Elementary.
Jacobs says she's excited to move back to elementary school and to work with children during their formative years.

Dr. Tim Brown, Sunset Middle
After two years as the principal at Sunset Elementary School, Dr. Tim Brown is excited to be crossing the Commons area to be the principal of Sunset Middle School. Brown has previously worked as a science teacher and assistant principal at Brentwood Middle. In addition, he has taught at the elementary and middle school levels in both Kentucky and Tennessee.
