Williamson County Spelling Bee
Published February 4, 2010
Kenrose fifth grader Patrick Fallon will represent Williamson County Schools March 4 at the State Spelling Bee. Fallon correctly spelled words like ampere, ephemeral and samovar to finish second at the Williamson County Spelling Bee February 4. Sixteen students participated in the event, which is open to students in grades four through eight. Only schools that are enrolled in the Scripps National Spelling Bee program are allowed to participate - and each school can only send two students. While he made it look easy, Fallon says it takes a lot of hard work to do well in an event like this. |
"It was kind of hard preparing for it," said Fallon. "My dad and I studied a lot." Below is a list of all the Williamson County students who competed in the 2010 Williamson County Spelling Bee: |
