The challenge ran from October 30 through January 27 and included teams from all 37 schools in the district, as well as the central office personnel. Fifty-seven teams were created and more than 1,300 individuals signed up for the competition. For 90 days, teams were able to earn points through activity, strength exercises and nutrition elements.
The team from Fairview Middle amassed a total of 152,190 points. The second place finisher was the Shape Shifter with 123,562 total points. They were one of two teams representing Walnut Grove Elementary School. And in third place was Doc’s Dedicated Divas, earning 120,942 points.
