WCS Educator Named Regional Teacher of the Year

Congratulations to Franklin High School teacher Betsy Taylor for being selected as the regional winner of the Tennessee Teacher of the Year competition.

Taylor, who teaches French at Franklin High School, was named the district's high school level Teacher of Year in February. Her name was then submitted to a panel of judges who reviewed all the candidates from the Mid-Cumberland Field Service Center area, which includes 12 school districts.

As the regional winner, Taylor's name has been submitted for consideration for the Grand Division competition.
