WCS Counselors Honored

Several Williamson County school counselors were recently honored at a special awards ceremony. The 2010 Gold Star Counselors Awards Reception was held February 8 in Murfreesboro.  The event is an opportunity for the Tennessee Department of Education to recognize exemplary school counselors from across the state.

Williamson County Schools Curriculum Specialist Kate Donnelly was among the 2010 winners.  She received a Leadership Award.  Sunset Middle School counselors Jill Lloyd-Crucini and Mark Phillips each received a MEASURE Trailblazer Award, as did Kenrose Elementary counselor Debora Finch and Edmondson Elementary counselor Nancy Rose.
