WCS Activity Contest Winners

The Williamson County Schools Activity Contest winners were announced April 17 at the Walk Across Williamson Celebration in Franklin.
School teams logged activity minutes for the months of February and March while competing for Coordinated School Health bonus and mini-health grants. Grants will be used to support the CSH initiative at each participating school.
Approximately 1,865 people from 19 schools participated in this year's event, logging 2,279,228 total minutes of activity over the two month period. The Neill family from Lipscomb was the family with the most minutes during February and March. Andrew Wisniewski representing Nolensville was the top individual.
Schools earning participation grants were Bethesda Elementary, Brentwood Middle, Grassland Middle, Hillsboro K-8, Nolensville Elementary, Page Middle, Ravenwood High, Scales Elementary and Sunset Elementary. The top 10 schools are listed below in the order in which they finished:

- Longview Elementary
- Walnut Grove Elementary
- Lipscomb Elementary
- Franklin High
- Trinity Elementary
- Pinewood Elementary
- Woodland Middle
