Students Receive Rotary Scholarships

The Rotary Club of Cool Springs recently awarded four Williamson County students the Arlene Peterson Memorial Scholarship. Each student will receive $1,000 toward their college education. The scholarships are given each year to students who excel in Career and Technical Education programs. This year's winners are:
Grant Godel, Centennial High School
Trevor Hyssong, Centennial High School
Hillary Yeh, Independence High School
Emily Kopko, Page High School
The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International also awarded Williamson County Schools Career and Technical Education Coordinator Jackie Baggett and Centennial High School Drafting Teacher Tim Sawyer the Community Impact Award. Both educators were also named a Paul Harris Fellow, which is the highest honor awarded by Rotary International.
