Snow Day Update

The latest dose of winter weather to hit Middle Tennessee led district officials to cancel professional development Monday, February 15, and school Tuesday, February 16. The decision was made after spotters with the Williamson County Schools Transportation Department reported numerous secondary and rural roads still covered in snow and ice.

When factoring in the cancellation of Monday's professional development day for teachers, Tuesday's cancellation was the district's eighth snow day, which means there are two remaining. Williamson County Schools built 10 snow days into the 2009-2010 district calendar. Any additional days missed would be rescheduled.
