School Awarded for Sportsmanship

The student athletes at Centennial High School are setting an example for others to follow. Centennial is the only Williamson County high school to be nominated for the A.F. Bridges Divisional Award.
The award is given each year to schools that have had no reported unsportsmanlike conduct incidents in any sport during the previous school year. It's an accomplishment Centennial High School Principal Terry Shrader is especially proud of.
"In the heat of athletic competition, it is very difficult for high school students to keep their tempers under control," says Shrader. "Especially for a full year in every sport. This honor is a tribute to the hard work, discipline and dedication of all our athletes and their coaches."
