Ravenwood Band to Perform in Cotton Bowl Parade

The Ravenwood High School Marching Band will ring in the New Year in Dallas, Texas, as they prepare to perform in the 2010 Cotton Bowl Parade. Led by Ravenwood High School Band Director Mark Kinzer, the Ravenwood band will represent Williamson County Schools in the annual New Year's Day event.

The students will depart for Dallas on December 29. In addition to marching in the Cotton Bowl Parade, the band will also perform during halftime of the Cotton Bowl on January 2. That game, which will be played in the new billion dollar Dallas Cowboys stadium, will feature Ole Miss versus Oklahoma State.
