Page Music Festival

Published July 22, 2010

Preparations are underway for the first-ever Page Music Festival. The event will take place Saturday, August 28 at the Peytonsville Fire Department. Proceeds will benefit the Fred J. Page Marching Band.

“This is the first time for us to do this event,” said Band Booster President Sam Santilli. “The venue is perfect for an afternoon with the family. We’ll have some awesome music, wonderful food and vendors of all kinds.”

The event will feature three musical acts, as well as performances by several Page High School students. Band parents will also serve up home-cooked meals and there will be a bake sale and auction.

“We have some incredibly talented bakers in our group,” said Santilli. "Plus, there will be hand-cranked ice cream available for purchase."

Tickets are $5 in advance and can be acquired by calling Sam Santilli at 477-6460. Tickets at the gate will be $7, with a max of $20 per family. Children under five are free.

“We’ll start at 4 p.m. and wrap up at sundown,” said Santilli. “We’ll have a tent with seating for 200, but plan to bring your blankets and lawn chairs and make a night of it."
