New Elementary School Site Chosen

Published June 24, 2010

The Williamson County Board of Education has contracted to purchase land that will serve as the site of a new elementary school.  Superintendent Dr. Mike Looney made the announcement at the Board's June 21 meeting.

The land is located on Clovercroft Road just east of Wilson Pike.  The school, which is scheduled to open in August of 2011, will help relieve overcrowding at Trinity Elementary and will likely have the same building plan as both Longview and Nolensville elementary schools.
