Name the District's New Elementary Schools-4387

Friday, October 2 will be the last day for anyone wishing to submit names for the district's two newest elementary schools. The first school will be located off Highway 96 on Townsend Boulevard in the west Franklin area. It is scheduled to open in August, 2010.

Williamson County Schools is also building a new elementary school in the Spring Hill/Thompson's Station area. It will be located on Hurt Road and is also scheduled to open in August, 2010. Zoning has not been established for either elementary school.

All name suggestions will be reviewed by a committee that will then make recommendations to the School Board for a final selection. Names for each school may be submitted through the following link http://www.wcs.edu/newschoolname.htm.
