Late Start Days Return-4560

In a move that is sure to please some local high school students, the Williamson County School Board recently approved a measure to continue Late Start Days at high schools during the 2010-2011 school year.  Late Start Days allow teachers an opportunity to work together several times a year to develop strategies for instructing students. 

Although classes begin a half hour later on these days, buses will continue to run at their regular times.  Students arriving to school early will have the benefit of choosing from several supervised activities.  Parents and students will need to check with their individual school for a list of Late Start Days for the 2010-2011 school year.
