HMS Dance Team Performs at Nursing Home

Members of the Heritage Middle School dance team recently spread some joy to the residents of a local nursing home.  The students paid a visit to Grace Healthcare Nursing Home in Franklin February 13 and entertained residents with a special Valentine's Day performance.

Heritage Middle School dance team coaches Sarah Fischer and Lisa Swinford designed the show, which included performances to several songs like (I've Had) The Time of My Life and Jail House Rock.  Afterwards, the students passed out hand-made Valentine's Day cards and gift bags to the residents.

"I really enjoyed visiting with the older ladies and hearing about their life," said HMS student Taylor King.  "It was a great experience."
