Heritage Middle Interim Principal

Published February 18, 2010

Heritage Middle School Assistant Principal Frank Brown will serve as principal of Heritage Middle for the remainder of the school year. Brown will take over for Paula Pulliam who was tapped to open the new Spring Station Middle School.

“Frank has been the second in command at Heritage for the past few years,” said Superintendent Dr. Mike Looney who made the announcement. “His experience at Heritage Middle and his knowledge of the Thompson’s Station and Spring Hill communities will make this an easy transition.”

Brown started his career in education in 1992 teaching and coaching in the Metro and Rutherford county school systems. He began his administrative career in 2001 in Metro before joining Williamson County in the spring of 2007 as an assistant principal at Independence High. Brown has been at Heritage Middle for almost three years.

“I am excited about the opportunity to continue working with the students of Heritage and the Spring Hill and Thompson’s Station communities in my new role as principal,” said Brown. “Heritage Middle School is a phenomenal school with wonderfully talented students, a top notch faculty and staff, and great parent and community support. I look forward to continuing the amazing tradition of excellence Mrs. Pulliam has established.”

Brown earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in biology and education from Freed-Hardeman in 1991; his Masters in educational leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University in 1998; and he is currently pursuing his Doctorate from Trevecca.
