H1N1 Flu Vaccine Now Available to All

Published December 3, 2009

The Williamson County Health Department is now offering H1N1 flu clinics for anyone who has not yet received the vaccine. The clinics will continue on Friday, December 4, from 8:30 to 3:30 p.m. and Saturday, December 5, from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The Health Department asks that you make an appointment by calling (615) 794-1542.

Previously, the H1N1 vaccine was available only to people in the priority groups, such as pregnant women and small children. Due to an increase in the amount of vaccine, it is now available free of charge to anyone who wishes to receive it.

The Williamson County Health Department is located at 1324 West Main Street in Franklin and will continue to announce when there will be H1N1 clinics. For more information about the H1N1 or seasonal flu vaccines, call the Williamson County Health Department.
