Free Vaccines Available
Published April 1, 2010
The Williamson County Health Department will offer all vaccines required for school entrance free of charge. There will be two clinics available to students in recognition of Public Health Week. One will be set up April 5-9 inside the Williamson County Health Department's Franklin location on West Main Street. The second will be available April 9 inside the Williamson County Health Department's Fairview location.
The clinics are especially important this year in light of several new immunization requirements by the Tennessee Department of Health. That includes a new law that requires children entering seventh grade in 2010 to have a Tdap and Varicella booster. Select this LINK for more information regarding the new immunization requirements.
