Flu Vaccine Information

The Williamson County Schools Health Services Department has an important reminder for parents: vaccine is now available to everyone for both the seasonal flu and H1N1 flu. The vaccine can be found at the Williamson County Health Department and through many local healthcare providers and private physicians. Appointments can be made with the Health Department by calling (615) 794-1542.

Receiving a vaccine for both the seasonal and H1N1 vaccine is the number one recommendation for prevention of acquiring the flu this year according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

You can find additional information from the Tennessee Department of Health by calling their free Flu Information Line. It is open Monday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 1-877-252-3432.
