Dr. Looney Completes Tour of all 37 Schools

Published December 17, 2009

It only took two weeks for Williamson County's new Superintendent of Schools Dr. Mike Looney to complete his tour of all 37 schools in the district. Spending time in each facility and getting to know the staff has been a top priority for Dr. Looney since taking over the position of Superintendent on December 1.

“I know why Williamson County Schools has such a stellar reputation for learning,” said Looney. “I believe the strength of this district is its people, and I have had the opportunity to talk with and observe wonderful teachers, staff, students, parents and administrators.  I have witnessed powerful instruction taking place across the county, and I look forward to being out in the schools as much as possible during the second semester.”
