Director of Schools Search Update-4355

The public will get an opportunity to meet each of the three finalists for Director of Schools in Williamson County next week. The candidates will be in town to tour the district, visit schools and participate in a second interview with the School Board. A public reception will be held from 8:15 a.m. until 9:15 a.m. daily, and the public interviews are scheduled from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. daily. The public reception and the public interviews will be held in the Carolyn Campbell Room at the Central Office. The finalists include:
- Mr. Mike Looney, superintendent, Butler County School District, AL - Tuesday, August 18
- Dr. Barry Carroll, superintendent, Limestone County Schools, AL - Wednesday, August 19
- Mr. Dennis Dearden, senior vice-president, Partnership for Excellence, AZ - Thursday, August 20
The Williamson County School Board will meet in special session Monday, August 24 at 6 p.m. in the Carolyn Campbell Conference Room to consider the next steps in the search process.
