Construction Update

Construction crews are working on several projects across the district.  Two new elementary schools and a middle school are set to open in August, 2010.  The district also plans to open a high school in 2011.  Below you will find information on the current status of the four schools.

 Allendale Elementary:
  • Brick veneer 70% complete
  • Storm drainage 90% complete
  • Casework installation in progress
  • Window glass installation in progress
  • Fireproofing is complete
  • Scheduled to open in August, 2010

 Spring Station Middle:
  • Completed wood flooring in gym
  • Bleacher installation complete
  • Locker installation in progress
  • Started fencing at ball fields
  • Exterior concrete 60% complete
  • Scheduled to open in August, 2010

 Summit High:
  • Completed foundation block at G wing
  • Geothermal drilling in progress
  • Block wall construction underway
  • Auxiliary gym walls 75% complete
  • Retention pond complete
  • Scheduled to open in 2011

  • Sidewalks 60% complete
  • Masonry complete
  • Casework in progress
  • Gymnasium bleachers complete
  • Geothermal complete
  • Scheduled to open in August, 2010
