Career Fair Exhibitors Needed
Published August 27, 2009
How would you like to promote your company or business while helping local students at the same time? At the Eighth Annual World of Possibilities Career Fair, you can do just that.
This comprehensive career fair will be held November 19, 2009, at the Williamson County Ag Expo Park. The event is designed to get eighth graders to start thinking about future job opportunities and career fields.
"We are taking an active role to introduce students to career opportunities and other
emerging careers by offering more career education within the curriculum," said Jackie Baggett, Williamson County Schools Career and Technology Coordinator. "The World of Possibilities Career Fair is an excellent strategy for getting students engaged in learning about careers."
Businesses and organizations are invited to participate in the World of Possibilities Career Fair at no cost. This will be a great time to publicize, educate and recruit for local business, especially for those who choose to be an official sponsor for the event. Anyone interested in participating in the event can fill out an application by going to http://www.wcs.edu/careerfair/registration_for_business.htm.
