Published February 18, 2010
More than two dozen fourth and fifth grade students from Bethesda Elementary School recently participated in the 4-H Speech Contest at Franklin High School. Each participant was required to prepare a two-three minute speech about character traits. The students presented their speech in front of a 4-H room guide, two judges and the families and friends of other participants. Ribbons and awards were given to the students who finished in the top five.
