CENTENNIAL HIGH

Centennial High Competition Cheerleaders:  Placed second at the 2009 TSSAA State Cheerleading and Dance Championship.

Centennial High Dance Team:  Placed fourth at the 2009 TSSAA State Cheerleading and Dance Championship.

CROCKETT ELEMENTARY

  Ellen Miller, Crockett Elementary:  Won first place in a statewide art contest sponsored by the Tennessee Science Teachers Association.

FRANKLIN HIGH

Ali Olson, Franklin High:  Selected for Junior High Mid-State Band (flute).
Andrew White, Franklin High:  Selected for Junior High Mid-State Band (trumpet).
Brian Curl, Franklin High:  Selected for Junior High Mid-State Band (bassoon).
Elizabeth Ayers, Franklin High:  Selected for Junior High Mid-State Band (trumpet).
Hannah Cavender, Franklin High:  Selected for Junior High Mid-State Band (alto saxophone).
Heather Trotter, Franklin High:  Selected for Junior High Mid-State Band (oboe).
Jooyoung Lee, Franklin High:  Selected for Junior High Mid-State Band (trumpet).

GRASSLAND MIDDLE

Skylar Day, Grassland Middle: Chosen as a Tennessee finalist for the Publix Design a Bag Contest.  Her design will be displayed on the Publix website by January 25.
Grassland Middle Competition Cheerleaders:  Won first place at the Jamfest National Competition in Gatlinburg.

Allie Lowe, Nolensville Elementary:  One of six students at NES to be honored in the 2009 writing contest sponsored by the Nolensville Dispatch.
Dima Lindsay, Nolensville Elementary:  One of six students at NES to be honored in the 2009 writing contest sponsored by the Nolensville Dispatch.
Laurel Ann Clapp, Nolensville Elementary:  One of six students at NES to be honored in the 2009 writing contest sponsored by the Nolensville Dispatch.
Sophia Albers, Nolensville Elementary:  One of six students at NES to be honored in the 2009 writing contest sponsored by the Nolensville Dispatch.
Sophie Harrington, Nolensville Elementary:  One of six students at NES to be honored in the 2009 writing contest sponsored by the Nolensville Dispatch.

RAVENWOOD HIGH

  Brad Davis, Ravenwood High:  Signed a letter of commitment to play lacrosse at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky.
  Lexi Piranian, Ravenwood High:  Signed a letter of commitment to swim at Eastern Michigan University.
  Megan Goss, Ravenwood High:  Signed a letter of commitment to swim at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
  Meredith Richardson, Ravenwood High:  Signed a letter of commitment to play volleyball at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Ravenwood High Forensics Team:  Placed first out of 22 schools at the Collierville Invitational Forensics Tournament.

SUNSET ELEMENTARY

  Amelia Karamax, Sunset Elementary:  Received a ribbon for her entry in the Nolensville Dispatch Writing Contest.
  Jessica Fahim, Sunset Elementary:  Received a ribbon for her entry in the Nolensville Dispatch Writing Contest.
  Katie Devereaux, Susent Elementary:  Received a ribbon for her entry in the Nolensville Dispatch Writing Contest.

SUNSET MIDDLE

Kayla Rice, Sunset Middle:  Won second place in the 2009 writing contest sponsored by the Nolensville Dispatch.
Quinn Needham, Sunset Middle:  Won first place in the 2009 writing contest sponsored by the Nolensville Dispatch.

WOODLAND MIDDLE

Casey Shi, Woodland Middle:  Won first place in the October Artist Palette's Art Contest.
Catherine Johnson, Woodland Middle:  Won third place in Division II of the Brentwood Woman's Club Poetry Contest.
Madison Rife, Woodland Middle:  Won third place in Division III of the Brentwood Woman's Club Poetry Contest.
Trent Jones, Woodland Middle:  Won first place in Division II of the Brentwood Woman's Club Poetry Contest.
